She was a paralysed woman.

She lived with her older son and was poor.

She died at her house at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The hysteria then was at the peak and no one was ready to help in the cremation of her dead body.

Even her family members were not able to come there.

The lockdown was already announced and there was no vehicle for carrying the dead body to the crematorium.

When her neighbours heard of the unfortunate accident, they were absolutely shook and thought of helping however they could.

They went to their door and offered their condolences to the family.

The family was in a terrible condition and were still trying to figure things out.

They asked the family if they needed any support or help and her son had a hope.

He asked them if they could help to carry his mother’s ‘arthi’ to the crematorium.

They all wore masks as a precautionary measure for the COVID-19.

The crematorium was almost  2.5 kilometres away from the locality and since no vehicle was available, they carried the body on their shoulders there.

Their neighbours who came forward to help were Muslims and they said that they considered it to be their duty as the woman showed a lot of affection to them when they were all children.

This set an example throughout the country to help people when they are need without thinking of their caste, creed and religion.

They were all lauded by Kamal Nath  who is a senior Congress Leader and also the former State Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

She was 65 years old and her was Draupadi Bai.

Humanity should be the only religion.
