MAHARASHTRA NCC STEPS UP ASSISTANCE TO CIVIL ADMININ

NCC Maharashtra Directorate stepped up assistance provided to civil administration in fighting spread of Covid-19.

The 48 Battalion of NCC located at Dhule which is part of the Aurangabad NCC Group deployed 02 Associate NCC Officers, 02 Permanent Instructors and 18 NCC cadets in different parts of Dhule City.

These cadets will be assisting civil administration in management of traffic, social distancing at PDS, queue management at petrol pumps, ATMs, banks, grocery shops and vegetable shops/markets across Dhule City.

The cadets have been trained on ‘Integrated Govt Online Training’ portal #iGOT on DIKSHA platform of Min of HRD in handling these tasks.

Commanding Officer 48 Bn Colonel Rajinder Singh briefed all these cadets about their responsibilities, Do’s & Don’ts to be observed by them during the assistance to the civil administration.

The district civil administration provided sticks, face masks, hand gloves and sanitizers.

NCC Directorate Maharashtra now has over 600 volunteer cadets deployed in NCC Yogdaan across Maharashtra.
