He was helping the migrant workers with essential foods and ration.

He was going from one place to another to help the affected people.

The coronavirus pandemic has affected millions of people and he was one too but decided to work on it.

He spent the money he saved for his wedding to feed the poor and migrant workers to help them with their misery.

He had saved 2 lakh for his wedding which was scheduled on 25th May but was postponed.

He was terribly shook by the negative things and impacts of this pandemic.

He started serving cooked food to the people who were in dire. He has successfully distributed 300 ration kits.

When people started seeing his story, the people started getting motivated.

A lot of people from around the country started lending a helping hand and donating in his initiative.

He has raised a fund of Rupees 6 lakh and is working to feed more people with that money.

With the funds he got, he purchased grocery items from the wholesale market and even cooked food.

His father recently passed away during the nationwide lockdown but that did not deter him either.

He mourned for 2 days for his terrible loss.

He again started his work because the terrible condition of people made him shiver.

He is an auto rickshaw driver in Pune.

He also offers free rides to senior citizens and pregnant women who are in need to visit their doctors in his rickshaw.

He has mounted a loudspeaker on his rickshaw through which he creates awareness about COVID-19  and some ways to protect themselves by it.

His name is Akshay Kothavale and he does not have a lot of money but is doing whatever is possible for him with his little resources.
