Police Compile Catalog of 10 Sharpshooters

In a strategic move, Punjab Police has compiled a comprehensive list of ten potential sharpshooters.

Among these, eight have been identified, while the identities of the remaining two gang members remain confidential due to security concerns.

Arms Transported from Jodhpur

Revelations from informed sources indicate that gangster Lawrence disclosed to Delhi Police’s Special Cell that the weapons used in the Moosewala assassination were procured from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Three individuals, Ranjit from Faridkot, Vijay, and Raka from a village at the Punjab-Haryana border, were responsible for transporting these illicit weapons.

Earlier, the Delhi police arrested Mukesh aka Punit, Om aka Shakti, and Harvinder, who disclosed that Raka was the source of the illegal firearms.

These individuals were associated with the Gogi gang. Subsequently, Rohit Moi, the gang’s leader, was apprehended by the police.

Moi’s interrogation revealed that the weapons were supplied on Lawrence’s orders. According to sources, Vijay facilitated the transportation of the firearms from Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

Origin of Bolero Traced to Rajasthan

Punjab Police’s investigation unveiled that the Bolero vehicle employed in the attack was sourced from Rajasthan.

Naseeb Khan procured the Bolero, later passing it to Charanjit in Fatehabad.

Charanjit was instrumental in transporting the Bolero to Punjab, which played a pivotal role in the tragic incident.

Sharpshooters Hideouts in UP and Nepal

Punjab Police’s thorough investigation revealed that the sharpshooters implicated in the Moosewala murder may have sought refuge in Uttar Pradesh and Nepal.

The Muzaffarnagar region is under close scrutiny, as is Nepal, where Delhi Police have initiated operations to apprehend the suspects.

Chilling Account of the Assassination

On the evening of 29th May, Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala was mercilessly murdered at 5:30 pm in Jawaharke village, Mansa.

Shockingly, approximately 40 rounds were fired, with 7 bullets hitting him directly.

Moosewala sustained a staggering 19 wounds, succumbing to his injuries within 15 minutes of the attack. The assailants relentlessly pursued Moosewala, who was driving a Thar jeep.

He was relentlessly chased by Bolero and Corolla vehicles. Notably, he was unaccompanied by a gunman during the attack.
